Q: It sounds like a neat concept, but what the?
A: Ah, good question. The Fashion Exchange is a unique opportunity to transform yourself into the likeness of a fur-and-feather-baring-Barbarella or a leather-girdle-wearing-"Ouchy the Clown" (ouch!) or something in between in the company of a frenzy of fun FABULOUS! folks undergoing similar fashion transformations. Add drinky drinks and a beat, and you have the fine vibe which is the fashion exchange.
Q: So like, can I wear my khakis?
A: Um sure, as long as its that lace khaki slip I've been dreaming of trying on. But don’t be mistaken, this is NOT a place to bring your bland, everyday, Land's End rugby shirts that you haven't worn in 10 years. Take that crap to Goodwill. This is where you bring items that you think are FABULOUS! but just don't fit you quite right, or maybe aren't quite your style, or even ones that fit you perfectly, but you think would be even more FABULOUS! on someone else... Bring anywhere from 5 to 500 items, bring accessories, clean out your closets and make room for new FABULOUS! items - you're going to leave with some fresh threads for certain.
Q: Wow. What else should I bring?
A: An open attitude, fun glam-wear that you're not afraid to part with, other fun glam-friends you're not afraid to part with, clean cute underwear……
